Congratulations to our 2017 Scholarship Winner!

Ms. Mariah K. Hanson, Poquoson High School, Poquoson, VA.

As part of the mission of the Virginia Choral Society, we are committed to supporting music education in our community. The VCS Music Scholarship Fund was created in 2009 to award a scholarship to talented young vocal musicians who plan to study vocal or choral music at the college level.

The number and amount of each award will be determined by available funds in the scholarship fund raised from fundraisers, donations, and grants.   Additionally, the recipient will be invited to demonstrate their abilities during one or more of our spring concerts.
